It was an even first half with few chances between two of the biggest Scandinavian clubs of all time. Four minutes before the break, IFK took the lead after a fine attack which resulted in a Rosenborg player being the last to the ball before it went into the goal.
The match became more lively in the last 45. Both teams created chances, and many players got good match practice. Managers of both teams tell The Atlantic Cup that they are satisfied with the match, but that it varied in quality. They were also extremely pleased with the quality of the pitch and the training facilities.
